Each, in their own special way, gives a gift of resources or time that lends to the realization of an event that brings so much to so many. Sponsorships and Donations are the main funding element in the planning and implementation of our event...

Logan Whistles at The Border Collie Company

Every year this beautiful buckle is donated by Bob Stephens in memory of his beloved dog, Del'mar Turk. The High Point, Home Raised Dog award holds great significance, as it recognizes the exceptional achievements of dogs that were either bred by their owner/handler or acquired before they were 6 months old.
To be eligible for the buckle, the dog must be CBCA registered and have been exclusively raised and trained by its owner/handler. The buckle is awarded to the highest placing dog in the Championship double lift who fulfills these criteria. In the event that there's no Home Raised Dog in the double lift, the buckle will then be awarded to the highest placing Home Raised Dog in the Championship.
It's a wonderful way to honor the bond between the dog and its owner/handler, as well as the dedication and hard work that goes into raising and training a dog.

High Point Home Raised Sheepdog  CBCA Championship Award

Louanne Twa donates this award every year to keep the memory of her friend Kristi Oikawa alive and to recognize individuals who demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship and love for the sport and Border Collies as much as Kristi did. The winner of this award is decided through voting by the handlers at the CBCA Championships. The lucky recipient will be presented with a beautiful collar during the handler's dinner on Saturday night.

On behalf of Louanne Twa, I want to wish all the participants at the Championships the best of luck!
